Dar Eltarbiah American School has been participating in AFS for many years.
In 2009/ 2010 Dar Eltarbiah hosted Gabria Abeles-Allison and Carrie Eliza Costellow ,they spent one academic year.Where they gain a lot of experience. One year later Carrie came back to Egypt as a student in AUC ,she studied Arabic and oriental studies.In an official visit , the deputy of foreign affairs minister , Hellary Clinton , came to Dar ElTarbiah, and met the girls and the faculty members.

On seeking a nomination, one name was presented and that name was a person called respectfully MAMA NAWAL.

 

Mrs. El Degwi is the example of what we all inspired to be.  She is involved in the very basic system of finding ways to bring education to as many persons as possible with the best delivery system of quality educational opportunities for persons of many ages and personal situations.
